The butter once defrosted has 6 weeks shelf life in a commercial chiller. Since 1905, this butter has been made in the traditional style from the cream of pasteurized milk from farms in the Poitou-Charentes in the heart of the county of Deux-Sèvres, using natural culture and slow churning. Traditionally homemade using a churn, Pamplie butters have a delicate flavour and a soft texture.
