Trisöl – WHEAT FIBRE POWDER Wheat fibre type carbohydrate is derived from wheat. Fibre-type carbohydrate obtained from the hydrolysis of wheat starch. Being long-chain fibres, they act as a bulking agent and repel oil from their environment. Highly recommended for use as frying flour, where, due to the rejection of oil, a much crispier texture is obtained than with traditional frying batter, which is not at all oily. Highly recommended for use as frying flour and tempura flour. The result is a more intense, crispy texture that is not oily at all.
Instructions for use: Substitute the product for some of the flour normally used and fry the battered food in plenty of oil.
Usual dosage: In tempura, substitute 20-40 % flour for the product, and in batter, 10-40 %.
