Foodistribute is based in Sydney and as a guide, average delivery times are approximately 2-10 working days within Australia. It is important to note that orders can only be dispatched Monday to Friday. There are two different types of shipping costs:
(1) Standard shipping cost for dry goods:
(a) Within delivery zones (verify at checkout) – free delivery for order over $150.00. Otherwise, you’ll incur a shipping cost of $15.00. Please note the delivery zone is generally about 10km radius from Artarmon.
(b) Outside of delivery zones – $15.00 for 1 carton up to 10kg only. Shipping cost goes up by $2.00 for every 2kg and the carton cannot weigh more than 20kg. A second carton will be required if total cart weight exceeds 20kg and the cost of second carton is calculated the same as the first. Please note if your location is too remote, we reserve the right to cancel your transaction as courier may charge much higher cost.
(2) Shipping cost for chilled or frozen goods:
(a) Additional $10.00 will be charged on top of the standard shipping cost as stated above. This is to cover extra handling and packing fee. Please note that chilled or frozen goods will only be posted out on Monday and Tuesday only. Additionally, we do not post chilled or frozen goods to WA.
Note: For chilled or frozen product, we pack them using insulated bubble wrap & ice pack and use standard courier. Hence, we may not ship product such as soft cheese (especially during summer). If you purchased chilled or frozen product(s) from us, you accept that these product(s) will be posted in such a way. The moment the products are posted, we do not offer refund for these items.
If your order is above $150, you’ll receive free delivery if your postcode falls within the postcode below.
A standard shipping rate of $15 is charged for order below $150.

What are your delivery methods?
Our two main delivery methods are Aramex Couriers and Australia Post and this may change from time to time. When placing an order, please provide your mobile number and email address. This is for our courier to contact you if they have issue delivering the parcel to your property (some apartments have secured entrance). If you cannot be contacted, courier may leave the parcel at the door or at a safe place or take the goods back (in this instance, your order may be cancelled or a redelivery fee will have to be charged). Thank you.
How long will my order take to get to me?
We work hard to ensure that your order is delivered ASAP. All orders are picked, packed and dispatched within 24 hours of the order being placed but please allow 2-3 working days for your order to be dispatched.
Delivery times are reliant upon normal Aramex and Australia Post delivery times and vary depending on where you live. Orders are shipped from Sydney and delivery times vary between states. On average, delivery days are between 2-10 working days within Australia after the order is dispatched. Please also note orders are only dispatched Monday to Friday. At times, delivery may take longer due to Covid-19 or public holidays falling during the week.
I need my order urgently, is there an option for express delivery?
Yes, we offer express delivery. Whilst this option is not available at checkout, you’ll need to contact us via email. There is an additional cost for express delivery and once we work out the pricing, you can decide whether to take up this option.
What happens if I am not at home when my order is delivered?
A signature may be required upon delivery. Aramex and Australia Post will either leave the parcels at the front door or leave a delivery card at your door to indicate they were there. You will then need to pick up the parcel at the indicated collection point stated on the card. If you are not available to sign for the parcel or to pick up from the collection point, please arrange to send the parcel to an alternative address, such as your workplace.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you can pick up from our Artarmon warehouse. Please leave a note when you place the order online or email us to inform us that you want to pick up. We need at least 1-2 days notice for pick up and generally pick up is between 12pm – 3pm during the week. Instruction will be provided once we receive your order.
