Australia’s favourite specialty French cheese by Fromagerie Guilloteau is made in the foothills of the French Alps. This cheese is produced using a unique ultrafiltration technique that retains proteins, fat and minerals in the paste. This makes it naturally richer in calcium and other minerals than other soft cheeses. This generous double cream cheese ripens for up to three weeks with unique lactic ferments developed by Guilloteau. It has a thin white mould rind, and the paste gradually develops a mild sweet creamy flavor. The unique melt-in-mouth texture is loved by all ages and is one of Australia’s favourite French cheeses. Le Fromager was awarded the silver medal at the prestigious Concours Général Agricole in 2016 in Paris for “bon gout et consistence impressionante’.
