This is the shredded chilli pepper cut into about 0.5mm thickness, like thread. Select red chili peppers are used to bring out the spiciness and color. As it is thinner than a regular shredded chilli pepper, it can be used to decorate Chinese noodles, Sushi, salad, delicatessen bread and soups as well as to add hot flavor.
