Scyavuru is a producer based in Ribera, on Sicily’s southern coast (Agrigento province), amid the region’s citrus groves. The name comes from the Sicilian dialect word “sciavuru” — meaning “scent” or “aroma” — reflecting their branding around authentic, terroir-driven flavour. Sweet Sicilian pistachio base studded with crunchy candied pistachio pieces — delivers the same buttery, true-to-nut character as the smooth cream but with textural contrast and a caramelised edge from the coated nut pieces. Better suited to topping and finishing than piping.

Flavour/texture character: Same rich, sweet pistachio base as the Smooth cream, but with a textural contrast — crisp, sugar-coated pistachio nut pieces distributed throughout, giving bite against the smooth paste. Slightly less intense raw-pistachio flavour up front than Smooth (less pistachio content), offset by the toasted/candied crunch pieces adding a caramelised, roasted-nut note. Marginally sweeter/crunchier profile — positioned as more of an indulgent “treat” spread than a pure pastry-filling base. Best suited to applications where texture matters (topping ice cream, finishing pastries, spooned over panettone/colomba) rather than piping or folding into batters, where the smooth version performs better. Colour: natural pale green.
